The band is currently not playing shows anymore because we all left home for college. Jay and Kyle are both at Wright State and Andrew is at Mount Saint Joseph. He is following a career in graphic design while he also plays college football. Jay is going for a dual major in Accounting and Finance while Kyle is studying Management Information Systems. All of us still love music and play as much as we can, but it's hard to keep a band going when you are away at college and need to focus on school too. Thanks to those who came out to see us play and supported us. It was a blast while it lasted!
 

Back To Reality was an alterntive rock band that was formerly known as Down Fall.  BTR formed in early 2004 when Jay Riethman (guitar/vocals) was hanging out with his life-long friends Kyle Elking (bass) and Andrew Pulskamp (drums/back vocals). Jay told Andrew and Kyle, jokingly, that they should learn how to play guitar or drums so they could start up a band. He did not expect them to take him serious, but they did. After Andrew and Kyle worked up enough money to buy some instruments, Back To Reality was formed.

We played local shows for a few years through high school whenever we could. It was hard to find time to practice and play shows since we all played football and basketball through high school, but we tried our best every chance we got. Having our band was a blast! Thanks again to all of you who supported us and all of the bands who we played shows with. It was a great experience we won't forget.
